Service is something that only a select few U.S. citizens know about. It involves courage, sacrifice, standing up for what is right and doing what must be done to keep the rest of us safe and free.
Too few of us understand the weight of service and many of our brothers and sisters carry that weight long after their service is complete.
Today, we thank and honor our military veterans with a message of caring, love, peace and gratitude.
Today, we express sympathy for the fallen who gave the greatest sacrifice of all.
Today, we send love to military families – wives & husbands, fathers & mothers, children – who feel the sacrifice in their daily lives.
Today, we thank and honor those who currently serve.
While today is Veterans Day, your service and sacrifice is appreciated every day.
