CANDLE
CARE & USE

TAKE GOOD CARE OF CANDLES

Our luxury scented candles are hand poured in the USA using a proprietary soy wax blend, clean-burning pure cotton wicks and a handmade blend of essential & fine perfume oils. They're thoughtfully crafted with cosmetic-quality ingredients and contain no dyes, pesticides, parabens or sulfates. All our candles are vegan - no animal products or testing ever. We carefully blend in the aromatic fragrances so they permeate every millimeter of wax, ensuring that each burn is clean, safe and highly scented.

Like all good things, candles need love & care to provide the best and safest burn.

Follow these tips to keep your candles in top shape so you can enjoy the fragrance each and every time.

1. TRIM THEIR WICKS

The first time out of the box, remove all packaging and trim the wick to 1/4" using a wick trimmer or scissors.

Trim the wick every time before lighting to remove soot, ash or other debris.

2. PREVENT WAX TUNNELLING

Wax has a memory. Candles like a full pool, so let the wax melt edge-to-edge.

Burn time is 2-3 hours per lighting, so don't just light and walk away.

When burning, keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and other debris.

Any time less than stated may result in the candle burning down the center, resulting in unused wax.

3. WATCH & TEND

Keep an eye on your candle and never leave it burning unattended.

Make sure its placed in a safe, well-ventilated location away from drafts and things that can catch fire. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Place candles on a coaster or or other heat-resistant surface when burning, but don't use the lid for this purpose.

Handle with care - the glass containers will be hot when lit. Don't move the candle or container while burning or until the wax has hardened.

4. EXTINGUISH CAREFULLY

If at any time the candle wick starts to smoke, it may be necessary to extinguish and trim the wick again.

Use a candle snuffer for the cleanest way to put out the flame (it will prevent hot wax splattering from blowing.)

When the wax reaches the wick holder, or once the candle wax is about 1/4-1/2" from the bottom, it's time to stop.

Never use water to extinguish your candle.

As the foundation of our quality promise, we say 'no thanks' to a growing list of chemicals that we don't include in our candles, home fragrances and bath products.

Our products are vegan - there are never any animal products used and they are not tested on animals.

DYES? NO THANKS!

Why not? Aniline candle dyes are made from chemicals, and because they aren't rated by the FDA, manufacturers don't have to disclose their ingredients

PARABENS? NO THANKS!

Why not? Parabens are chemical preservatives used to prolong products' shelf lives. They are easily absorbed into the body and disrupt hormone functions

SULFATES? NO THANKS!

Why not? Sulfates are chemical bonding agents that attract oil to water. They can cause skin and eye irritation and come from non-renewable resources

PESTICIDES? NO THANKS!

Why not? In farming, pesticides are used to kill insects, weeds and other 'pests'. They can contaminate soil, water, and vegetation which is taken into our food & water supply
